Key Account Manager Reports To:

Salaried, Exempt Summary Collaborating closely with our sales team to facilitate the sales process and ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating with various internal departments to meet customer needs. Duties and Responsibilities Account Ownership Serve as the primary day-to-day commercial contact for assigned OEM accounts. Build and maintain effective working relationships across customer functions to ensure alignment, responsiveness, and long-term account stability through consistent, professional communication with the customer. Maintain awareness of key stakeholders and decision-makers within the account to support effective commercial engagement. Maintain detailed understanding of Customer product platforms and Medallion content by application. Partner with Customer Service and Materials teams to ensure order accuracy (pricing & part numbers) and alignment between customer demand and internal supply. Proactively and transparently communicate to customers; at-risk orders, supply constraints, and recovery plans. Quoting/Forecasting/Pricing Maintain visibility to customer programs, quotes and revisions, forecast signals, open issues, and risks. Prepare and deliver customer quotations using pricing provided by the Pricing Analyst that includes customer requirements, program details, volumes, application, and part number context. Ensure all customer-facing pricing aligns with approved pricing structures, contract terms and M2M system data. Provide pricing input which includes competitive benchmarks, market dynamics, customer expectations, target pricing ranges for new opportunities, identifying gaps between target pricing and cost structure, commercial risks and sensitivities. Support forecasting activities by providing customer-specific insights, program timing updates and volume expectations and changes. Strategic Engagement Act as the central coordination point across Applications Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, Pricing and Forecasting. Engage Director of Sales and/or senior leadership when required for pricing direction, commercial positioning, or strategic decisions. Other relevant duties as assigned. S.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or 1 - 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of internal supply chain management and customer service. Experience with power sports, marine, RV, and trucking markets preferred. Language Skills Ability to interpret and analyze, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, colleagues and management team. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Skills Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong working knowledge of Internet software, email, sales reporting tools, Made to Manage, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
