Business Development & Sales/Marketing Relationship Management & Building Promotional Activities & Events Database Management & Performance Metrics
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Execute Continua's brand messaging and integrated influencer strategy. Support Architecture & Design firms in the market with timely education of our portfolio of services, products, and thought leadership. Cultivate a broad network of professional contacts through hosting events and educational experiences to raise brand visibility in the market. Develop relationships with top tier A&D firms to strengthen Continua's position in the market and drive opportunities Understand A&D firms' business drivers by identifying their strengths and challenges. Drive lead generation through A&D partnerships in collaboration with New Business Development and Sales teams. Provide recommendations, budget pricing, and other specification support for A&D project advancement. Participate in project strategy development and action plans with insight from A&D influencers for full portfolio of services. Conduct showroom tours and participate in sales presentations as needed. Represent Continua through professional organizations including membership programs, committee involvement, events, and more. Develop quarterly business plans for market activation and perform bi-annual A&D firm performance reviews with Continua's VP, Brand Experience. Maintain A&D contact database, track activation, and present ROI on industry events. Work collaboratively with MillerKnoll's primary influencer selling team.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
Bachelor's degree in interior design, architectural design, or a related field preferred. MillerKnoll product knowledge preferred. 3+ years of professional experience at an interior design or architectural firm, sales organization, or within a commercial office furniture manufacturer or dealership. Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills Strong customer focus, responsiveness to customer needs, and commitment to achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. Proven sales skills with ability to close deals.
Superior organizational abilities:
ability to effectively manage multiple moving parts by setting priorities, effectively allocating time and resources, and completing tasks associated with multiple projects. Ability to work collaboratively with others as an effective team member.
Presentation skills:
ability to present ideas, proposals, and solutions in a thoughtful yet compelling manner.
Problem solving skills:
ability to recognize and clarify the nature of a challenge, evaluate alternatives, and propose solutions. Ability to work effectively within a well-defined business process, and understanding of the importance of adhering to established procedures and protocols. Ability to host and attend networking events outside of normal business hours, occasional out-of-state industry trainings, and customer events.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 20 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
: The hiring compensation range for this position is an annual base salary of $70,000 - $85,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location, as well as internal equity and market considerations. Benefits available in this position include: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Company paid Short Term and Long-Term Disability insurance Critical Illness and Accident Insurance HSA, DCA and FSA options available Paid time off and holidays Paid Parental Leave 401k Match (50% of every 1% up to 4%)
