Job Description

BASIC JOB SUMMARY
The main purpose of this job is to service the customer base through add on sales and contract renewals. Job requires familiarity with advanced industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Requires excellent written and verbal skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for new sales in the territory as new projects are released, as well as finding new business in the current footprint that are not using TEC services Responsible for servicing and maintaining the customer base in a fast paced and dynamic environment Responsible for revenue retention and development of assigned customer base Responsible for improving communications and negotiation skills to renew service agreements, retain business, interpret customer needs, and promote company products and services Responsible for practicing and exhibiting concise and qualified closing skills to secure renewed business opportunities Responsible for obtaining and maintaining customer contact information (contact and decision maker) Broaden customer awareness and relationships to encompass all appropriate solutions offered by TEC Updates and maintains the CRM with customer notes, calls, meetings, and other related sales functions Preparation and presentation of customer quotes and contracts for existing customer renewals Coordinate and assist with Sales and Customer Relations to ensure the satisfaction and security of customers May be required to attend functions such as chamber events, Rotary, etc. as a TEC representative Willingness and enthusiasm to learn and apply new sales techniques Work well with customers, vendors, sales team, and other departments within TEC organization May be responsible for servicing and renewing residual agent accounts in a fast paced and dynamic environment Other duties that may be assigned
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Special projects as requested by the Senior Sales Manager. Education/Experience - A high school diploma is required, however a two-year associate degree from a junior college would be preferable. One or more years of computer experience preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office applications is beneficial. Good organization and communication skills, including maintaining and meeting various deadlines.
