Job Description

Overview:
Join our fast-paced office team as a Construction Equipment Rental Coordinator. You'll manage daily rental activities, coordinate equipment logistics, and deliver top-notch customer service to our clients in the construction industry. This role requires strong multi-tasking abilities, solid computer skills, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate rentals and equipment delivery/returns
  • to job sites, ensuring on-time performance and accurate records. Schedule pickups and drop-offs with drivers and contractors Track equipment availability and utilization Maintain organized, up-to-date rental files and documentation Provide exceptional customer service
  • to internal and external customers Answer inquiries, provide product information, and resolve issues promptly Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business Operate and manage rental system(s)
  • and computer-based processes Enter rental orders, billings, and invoices accurately Generate reports on utilization, rental revenue, and overdue items Assist with inventory control and maintenance scheduling Coordinate with sales, operations, and field teams
  • to meet project requirements Communicate equipment needs, delivery windows, and special requirements Ensure compliance with safety policies and site-specific procedures Assist with basic procurement and vendor coordination
  • as needed Verify equipment availability, pricing, and terms Liaise with manufacturers and rental partners for unit availability
Required Qualifications:
Strong multitasking abilities
  • in a busy office environment Proficient computer skills
  • (MS Office suite; experience with rental or ERP software is a plus) Excellent customer service skills
  • with a professional, courteous demeanor Clear communication and organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of excavation and construction equipment
  • is a plus (training available)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, or a similar industry Basic understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance for construction sites Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
