The National Accounts Specialist is an established performer who works to facilitate and support customer relations, projects, and other initiatives of the National Accounts sales function. This role will be responsible for ensuring positive business relationships by organizing effective and efficient communication between the National Accounts sales teams, customers, and other cross-functional departments. Duties and Responsibilities of the
Position:
Primary contact for National Account customers to provide overall day-to-day. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategic plans for the National Accounts function. Proactively monitor and assess accounts for program and process improvement opportunities. Prepare and analyze sales, inventory, pricing, and account reports to assist leadership with account decisions. Assist with preparing sales presentations used by National Accounts sales teams. Work cross-functionally with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Credit, etc., as the liaison for assigned National Accounts to resolve issues, including delivery discrepancies, delinquencies, and inventory issues. Work with the National Account sales team to communicate account expectations, specifications, pricing, and inventory availability. Maintain and update the system to ensure up-to-date customer information. Perform other duties as needed.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred. 2-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in SAP preferred. Experience in sales support preferred.
Competencies:
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products.
