Monday to Friday Pay Range $20.80 - $31.20 Job Description Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 4 years of clerical experience, including at least 3 years in a credit/collections environment Prior supervisory experience preferred Experience within the supported department preferred Licensure/Certification Must meet Business Office performance standards within six months of hire Key Responsibilities Support department operations by supervising and prioritizing staff work in the absence of the department leader Represent the department and attend meetings on behalf of leadership as needed Complete high-priority assignments and projects with accuracy and timeliness Prepare reports and manage required documentation Maintain working knowledge of all team functions to provide coverage when needed Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to team members; offer feedback to leadership Respond to internal inquiries across the Medical Center Perform complex clerical and collections-related duties, including handling patient accounts Participate in team meetings and contribute to information sharing Assist with special projects and department initiatives Support resolution of escalated patient concerns and complaints Organize workload effectively to meet deadlines and performance expectations Maintain established Business Office standards Perform other related duties as assigned Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and IDX systems Ability to guide and support less experienced team members Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute Work Environment Office setting that is clean, well-lit, and comfortable Physical Requirements Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching Requires manual dexterity, communication, and visual focus May involve lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally Our Commitment to
