We're a well-established, privately owned insurance agency serving commercial clients across a variety of industries. The firm is seeking a highly experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to take ownership of an established book of business. Salary:
$95,000 - $110,000 (flexible for the right candidate)

Full-Time The Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a generalist book of business consisting primarily of small to middle market accounts. This role requires someone who can step in and operate independently, handling full account servicing while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal team members. The book includes a variety of industries including contractors, real estate, manufacturing, and restaurants, with account sizes generally ranging from $500 to $50K in premium. This role also offers future leadership potential for someone interested in mentoring junior team members as the agency continues to grow. What You'll Do Manage a $3m+ commercial lines book of business across multiple industries Handle full-cycle account servicing including renewals, remarketing, endorsements, certificates, billing support, and policy changes Maintain strong client relationships and provide proactive service and communication Work closely with producers and internal staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain accurate documentation and policy management within the agency management system Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and client service processes Support agency leadership and contribute to a collaborative team environment What You Bring Property & Casualty License required 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience (7-10 years preferred) Strong experience with commercial renewals and surplus lines placements Ability to manage a large commercial book independently Strong attention to detail, organization, and task management Excellent communication and client relationship skills Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple accounts effectively Experience with agency management systems Leadership potential and interest in mentoring team members in the future Why Join This Organization?
