Full Job Description Job Summary:
Oxford Clinical Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and aggressive Sales Representative to drive new business by securing physician accounts. This role is focused on building a strong referral network by bringing in new doctors' offices, clinics, and healthcare providers to utilize our laboratory services.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively prospect, target, and sign new physician accounts (primary care, pain management, urgent care, specialty practices, etc.) Conduct daily in-person visits to doctors' offices to promote Oxford Clinical Laboratory services Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, office managers, and staff Present and educate clients on laboratory testing services, turnaround times, and service advantages Coordinate onboarding of new accounts, including setup of requisitions, supplies, and courier services Work closely with operations and billing teams to ensure seamless service for all clients Consistently meet and exceed monthly new account and test volume targets Track all sales activity, leads, and account status Resolve client concerns quickly to maintain satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience (healthcare or laboratory sales strongly preferred) Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals Strong understanding of physician office workflow is a plus Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-driven, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset Ability to work independently in the field Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily
Compensation:
Commission based on accounts brought in and test volume generated

Preferred Experience:
Existing relationships with physicians in the territory Experience in laboratory sales (toxicology, blood testing, molecular diagnostics) Knowledge of insurance and billing processes related to lab testing
