Key Account Manager - Logistics Newark, New Jersey (Port of NY/NJ Market) $100K - $160K Base + Bonus + Full Benefits Own the relationship. Drive growth. Be the difference. We are hiring a Key Account Manager to manage and expand high-value logistics accounts tied to one of the busiest freight corridors in the U.S. β€” the Port of New York and New Jersey . This is a high-impact, client-facing role where you'll oversee major accounts, solve complex logistics challenges, and play a direct role in revenue growth and customer retention. πŸ”Ή What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts Manage day-to-day operations, escalations, and service performance Oversee KPIs, SLAs, and reporting to ensure best-in-class service Identify opportunities to grow accounts (upsell / cross-sell) Lead pricing, renewals, and RFQs Work cross-functionally with operations, pricing, and leadership teams Deliver solutions across drayage, intermodal, truckload, and freight forwarding πŸ”Ή What We're Looking For 3-10+ years in logistics, freight brokerage, or freight forwarding Experience managing high revenue or enterprise-level accounts Strong understanding of: Port / drayage operations (highly preferred in Newark market) Domestic and/or international shipping Proven ability to retain and grow customer relationships Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills πŸ”Ή What You'll Get Competitive base salary + performance bonus Access to established, high-volume accounts Growth path into Senior / Global Account Management or Leadership A fast-paced, high-visibility role in a critical logistics hub πŸ”Ή Why This Role Stands Out This is not a cold-calling sales job.
