You'll have the room to grow, the flexibility to balance life with work, and the opportunity to better health worldwide, together. ## Our Team, Your Impact The purpose of the Associate Director, Medicaid National Accounts is to ensure optimal in-line and pipeline market access strategy for Teva branded products with our largest and most complex Medicaid accounts and aligning cross-functional partners for appropriate access attainment and pull-through. These accounts represent a significant portion of Teva's branded business, and success with these accounts is critical to the overall success of the US Branded business. The Associate Director, Medicaid National Accounts is accountable for working with the Medicaid account management team and their assigned State Medicaid Accounts and PBAs, Market Access Leadership, Brand Teams, Payer Marketing, and Business Units to consult on and execute market access strategies for in-line and pipeline products. This role is responsible for driving enterprise Medicaid strategy across priority national and state accounts, ensuring alignment and execution consistency across the Medicaid account management organization. This position operates with a national lens, identifying cross-account opportunities, risks, and trends to inform enterprise strategy and business decision-making The Associate Director plays a key role in synthesizing insights across state Medicaid programs, PBAs, and state vendor partners to guide decision-making, optimize access strategies, and influence enterprise prioritization for in-line and pipeline products This person will be called upon to support analysis of rebate contracts that are requested by states and contracting pools through the RFP process. In addition to supporting account-level execution, this role is accountable for identifying systemic barriers and opportunities across the Medicaid landscape and partnering cross-functionally to address them at scale. The execution of the payer strategies involves leading cross-functional account teams made up of Regional Account Managers, Payer Marketing Managers, Contracting and Pricing, Legal, Government Affairs, Trade, and Sales Personnel. The ability to successfully network and penetrate key Medicaid accounts and to develop and cultivate long-term working relationships is critical. The ability to work effectively with senior leadership and to lead cross-functional teams is essential. Account customer types may include; State Medicaid Programs, Pharmacy Benefit Administrator and their partnering vendors critical to administering their pharmacy and medical benefit coverage. ## How You'll Spend Your Day All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to the satisfactory performance of this position by any incumbents with reasonable accommodation if necessary.   • Work with Medicaid Team, Brand Teams, Payer Marketing, Business Unit Heads and Market Access leadership to consult on and execute effective market access strategies for currently marketed as well as pipeline products.
  • Maintain cutting edge knowledge of rapidly evolving Medicaid market
  • Actively participate in brand teams, task forces and launch teams
  • Identify and synthesize trends across state Medicaid programs, PBAs, and state vendor partners to inform enterprise market access strategy and prioritization
  • Ensure optimal Preferred Drug List (PDL) access:
  • Track assigned account bid requests
  • Analyze and support contract negotiations within required timelines
  • Facilitate VEO and Medicaid Account Management collaborations on necessary clinical engagements with accounts.
  • Communicate and educate Medicaid landscape and product strategy with RAM colleagues to support downstream field education and pull-through
  • Define wins with appropriate communications with essential stakeholders including Value & Access Strategy and RAM colleagues for pull through
  • Evaluate current coverage and performance of in-line and future pipeline products and categories to identify optimal access, competitive positioning and actional opportunities to improve outcomes
  • Attend Medicaid and affiliated association meetings and conventions as appropriate ## Your Skills and Experience Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advance Business or Pharmacy degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Market Access/Account Management experience, >2 years Medicaid account management experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Solid understanding of federal/state policy and regulation and resulting business implications
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, strategic planning, execution, operational excellence, complex contract modeling and negotiation skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 25%- 50% domestic travel throughout the
US. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional:
  • Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
  • Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.
e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.). ## Salary Range The annual starting salary for this position is between $169,440 - $222,390 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. ## How We'll Take Care of You We offer a competitive benefits package, including:
