Job Description

We're a licensed cannabis manufacturer with facilities in New Jersey, New York and Massachusetts (and a sister hemp contract manufacturing business) hiring a dedicated wholesale sales leader. If you've built a book in licensed cannabis, know the dispensary buyers across the Northeast, and understand how contract manufacturing actually works on the inside, this is the seat that turns into VP Sales in 18 months. What we make Vapes, pre-rolls, infused pre-rolls, and hash holes. We run our own hydrocarbon extraction and our own brands, and we manufacture for other licensed brands and MSOs. The hemp side does white-label contract manufacturing of hemp-derived products for an established client base. What you'll do Open new doors. Sell our contract manufacturing capacity to licensed cannabis brands, MSOs, and emerging operators across NJ, NY, and MA. We have the equipment, the licenses, and the capability — we need someone who knows who to call and how to close. Build the own-brand wholesale program across three states. Sell our finished goods into dispensaries across New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts. You'll work alongside operations to position the portfolio, open new retail doors, expand our distribution footprint, and drive sell-through. Manage our key account base. Account-manage 8-9 existing larger clients on the hemp contract manufacturing side while helping support and grow strategic cannabis accounts. Three full-time assistants will support operational work, allowing you to focus on relationship management, QBRs, expansion opportunities, escalations, retention, and onboarding new clients. Set the foundation. Define the sales process, CRM structure, pricing playbook, and rep onboarding for the team we'll hire under you within 12-18 months. Be the face. Represent us at NECANN, MJBiz, NJCBA events, dispensary openings, brand mixers, and industry networking events. Carry the relationships. What we're looking for 5+ years in licensed cannabis sales. Not legacy market only. Regulated cannabis is the bar. An active book of dispensary buyer relationships across at least two of: New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts. If you can name 20 buyers off the top of your head and three of them would take your call right now, we want to talk. B2B contract manufacturing experience. You understand MOQs, formulation, lead times, MSAs, white-label vs. private-label, tooling charges, cost-plus pricing. You can hold your own in a procurement conversation. Hybrid hunter/farmer disposition. You can prospect and close, AND you can run a clean account management rhythm. If you only love one of those, the other half of this job will frustrate you. State regulatory fluency.
METRC, NJ-CRC, NY OCM, MA-CCC.
You know the rules, the gotchas, and the politics. You live in NJ or NY. Driving distance to your accounts. Travel to MA 1-2x per month. This is the opposite. You're employee-level early enough that the program is what you make it, but the company already has the licenses, the facilities, and a real hemp revenue base. You'll be responsible for: Building out our wholesale distribution program across New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts Growing key strategic accounts Opening new contract manufacturing opportunities throughout the Northeast Creating the foundation for a future sales team The seat becomes VP Sales as the team grows under you. How to apply Apply through Indeed with your resume.
