Job Description

Account Manager
  • United States, Accident & Health (A&H) Join us as an Account Manager US (A&H) to play a highly influential role in protecting our clients and growing our business.
Make your mark in Accident & Health The Account Manager US A&H will report to the Head of Sales and Distribution, North America A&H. This role is responsible for the development of trusted relationships with key clients and brokers to drive business growth and retention through good stewardship, strategic development, service delivery, and problem solving. This role will work closely with the Head of Sales and Distribution to optimize existing broker and client relationships in close partnership with underwriting leadership. How you will create an impact: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned key clients and brokers Develop a trusted advisor relationship and serve as the main point of contact for servicing with assigned key clients and brokers Identify opportunities for additional business and set clear goals for assigned broker or client Establish clear goals in conjunction with broker, sales, and underwriting Forecast and track key performance indicators (Share of wallet, target accounts, submission/quote/bind stats, new business, renewal retention) Measure performance against stated goals Drive key broker/client reviews and strategies through regular stewardship meetings and touchpoints Collaborate with underwriting, sales, marketing, claims, and operations to ensure timely and successful delivery of agreed upon solutions Address and resolve broker or client issues quickly and effectively What you'll need to succeed: Proven ability to drive results with broker and client partners Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable strategies Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Strong relationship management expertise to grow key broker and client relationships. Data-driven decision making to optimize sales performance. Deep problem solving capabilities to address challenges in a dynamic and competitive market environment. Expertise in Salesforce.com as CRM for sales analytics, sales pipeline management and forecasting. 7+ years of sales and/or distribution experience, preferably in A&H or related products. Understanding of broker and distribution networks across the US Keen business acumen, with a focus on revenue, profitability, and growth.   • 96,700 and for positions based in NYC and San Francisco, CA, the base salary range is $90,000
  • 106,800 and for positions based in Massachusetts the base salary range is $85,000
  • 104,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
