Position Summary:
The Case Planning Supervisor will provide leadership, training, supervision, guidance and support to program staff and is responsible for communication of all policies and procedures. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the mission and core values are incorporated to the day to day function of staff with direction with regard to excellence in practice utilizing a Family Centered and Strength-Based model of approach. This position is a critical part of our Campus Services Foster Care Department and will work closely with the Campus Interdisciplinary Team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise staff to ensure high-quality, family-centered, strength-based care Ensure compliance with agency, city, state, and federal regulations (ACS, DSS, OCFS) Drive permanency outcomes (reunification, adoption, housing, etc.) Oversee case planning, documentation, and service delivery Support staff performance through supervision, training, and development Participate in court processes, audits, and interdisciplinary team meetings Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and stakeholders Provide crisis intervention and support as needed Facilitate team meetings and contribute to program development Support intake, referrals, and implementation of evidence-based practices Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field Minimum 3 years of case management experience in child welfare (foster care preferred) At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems An understanding of the impacts of institutional and structural racism on the child welfare system and in underserved communities
