Job Description

Luxury Millwork & Interior Design Studio
  • Scarsdale, NY Gotham Cabinetry & Design is not a typical design firm.
We are a fully integrated millwork studio specializing in high-end residential interiors, where every project is rooted in design, storytelling, and execution. We are hiring a Client Experience Manager to become the first point of contact for our clients—and the standard for how our brand is experienced. This is not a receptionist role. This is a position of authority, discretion, and control. The Role You will lead all initial client interactions and determine which projects enter the studio. You will guide conversations with confidence, qualify alignment early, and ensure every client who moves forward is prepared, informed, and serious. You will protect the design team's time while delivering a polished, elevated experience from first contact through project completion. What You'll Be Responsible For Client Intake & Qualification Manage all inbound inquiries (phone, email, web, social) Lead initial conversations with clarity, warmth, and authority Confidently introduce our process, expectations, and investment levels Identify alignment, misalignment, and red flags early Decide which clients move forward—and which do not Process Control Enforce Gotham's intake process without exception Ensure no consultation is scheduled without proper alignment Maintain consistency, speed, and structure across all interactions Client Experience Set the tone for a refined, high-touch client experience Serve as a steady, professional point of contact throughout the project lifecycle Manage communication during production phases (non-design related) Operations & Tracking Maintain accurate records of all client interactions Track lead progression and close loops decisively Support accounts receivable communication and payment follow-ups Showroom & Growth Support Assist in executing targeted outreach, events, and follow-ups Help drive qualified traffic and long-term client relationships Authority in This Role You will be trusted to: Decline consultations when alignment is not present Redirect inquiries professionally and confidently Uphold the company's standards without exception This role is fully supported by leadership. What We're Looking For Experience in luxury client-facing environments (interior design, architecture, high-end retail, or similar) Strong communication skills with the ability to lead—not follow—conversations Composure, intuition, and sound judgment Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple moving parts Professional presence with a natural sense of discretion and control How Success is Measured Higher-quality, well-qualified client consultations Faster, more decisive sales cycles Reduced time spent on unqualified leads Clients entering projects informed and aligned About Gotham Founded in 2017, Gotham Cabinetry & Design creates spaces that evoke emotion and reflect the lives lived within them.
