$18•25 BOE Assistant Account Manager•Must-Have Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing, administrative, account management, or customer service role Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a must! Open to a flexible schedule with early starts and late ends Experience organizing and maintaining digital documentation and filing systems Ability to learn and effectively utilize ERP/MRP software systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Assistant Account Manager•Position Summary The Assistant Account Manager serves as a key liaison between customers and internal departments, supporting sales, estimating, production, and management teams. This role is responsible for managing customer communications, coordinating quote requests, processing sales orders, tracking project activity, and providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring efficient communication throughout the production process. Assistant Account Manager•Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Sales Support Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer communications Respond to customer inquiries regarding requests, scheduling, and project updates Support sales and management teams by handling administrative and customer service functions Maintain positive customer relationships through timely and professional communication Quote & Request Management Coordinate incoming requests for quotes and maintain quoting schedules Distribute quote requests to estimating personnel and track progress Communicate technical questions and clarifications between customers and internal teams Compile estimating information and prepare customer quotations Submit quotes electronically and maintain accurate records Quote Tracking & Follow-Up Monitor quote status and update records accordingly Follow up with customers regarding pending quotations Contact customers prior to quote expiration dates to encourage timely responses Sales Order Processing Review customer purchase orders and reconcile them with approved quotations Identify discrepancies and communicate necessary corrections Generate sales orders and coordinate production-related requirements Ensure accurate order entry and documentation Customer Service & Administrative Support Route customer inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary Maintain organized electronic filing systems and customer records Assist with documentation, reporting, and data entry activities Support internal communication between departments to ensure project success Marketing & Event Support Assist with trade show preparation and event coordination Support marketing initiatives and promotional activities Contribute to projects that enhance company culture and customer engagement Assistant Account Manager•Additional Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial operations preferred Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Excellent time management and follow-through abilities Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence #
