Account Representative Youngwood, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22527339 Summary Youngwood, PA In-Person $18.83 - $21.18 per Hour 2 Years Experience Post-secondary academic degree, Associate degree No Commission 38.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description The Account Representative will play a critical role in the promotion of PA CareerLink® programs and services. Responsible to identify and establish relationships with businesses who are seeking staffing and training solutions and assist with their enrollment on to the website. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, as well as public relations, recruitment and/or marketing experience.

What You'll Do:

Monitor new/current job orders with a focus on targeted industry clusters Perform applicant searches to identify potential employees for businesses Contact job seekers obtained from applicant searches to discuss job openings and identify specific skills and interests of job seeker prior to referral Offer basic assessment and explanation of available services to customers assisted in job matching Contact employers to promote qualified job seekers Follow up with employers and job seekers through referral/placement process Coordinate the placement of job seekers into existing opportunities Make referrals to other services based on job seeker needs Maintain record and prepare reports as needed Attend meeting and seminars as a representative of the organization Coordinate marketing and recruitment activities Complete forms, timecards, and other paperwork as required

What You'll Bring:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field; commitment to obtain a National Family Development Credential within 18 months of hire.

Experience:

Two years in public relations, selling, vocational counseling, and/or job placement experience. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centered mindset. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain focused with frequent interruptions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation, Act 33, Act 34, FBI/DPW, and NSOR clearances at hire, Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime as needed, Ability to handle confidential personally identifiable information (PII)
