Job Description

62072: Account Manager II-Specialty FedEx Freight dental insurance, parental leave, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) 2323 Terminal Road (Show on map) Jun 20, 2026 While this is a remote position, the successful candidate must reside within 50 miles of a FedEx Freight location(s)in Denver, Co or Minneapolis, MN.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Focuses on personal sales targets by developing new business opportunities, troubleshooting customer problems and enhancing existing customer relationships. Contacts large sized 3PL or 4PL, prospects and collaborates with other sales professionals as a transportation intermediary expert within a defined geographic territory to sell LTL services.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieves major account sales goals. Plans and executions for major customer sales strategies. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent. Minimum Experience 10+ years of experience in transportation, 3PL, or 4PL; LTL experience preferred Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong business acumen with the ability to read and interpret P&L statements Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level Ability to co-develop a FedEx Freight growth strategy in partnership with third-party logistics providers Deep understanding of the TI/intermediary channel, including broker, forwarder, and 3PL business models Experience managing large, complex accounts with multiple stakeholders and high revenue responsibility Familiarity with LTL pricing structures, including tariffs, spot quotes, and contract negotiations Ability to analyze account-level profitability and identify share-of-wallet opportunities Strong cross-functional collaboration skills - comfortable working with pricing, operations, legal, and collections Experience with RFP processes and the ability to position FedEx Freight competitively against other LTL carriers Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven sales reporting Self-directed with the ability to manage a large territory and prioritize a high-volume account portfolio

Annual Salary:
$94,693.00 - $151,509.00 The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s). If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels. Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.
