Job description: The position of Account Manager in Contract Surety is a remote field position in which the candidate must reside in the respective territory and report to the corporate office in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Your Target Market focuses on small to medium-sized contractors that work in the public sector and require a surety bond. We are seeking entrepreneurial individuals who are self-motivated, well-organized, and determined to overachieve. The position entails calling on a database of qualified contractors, scheduling appointments, and presenting our services to contractors, reviewing the prospect's financial strength to qualify, and gaining agreement on the program's benefits. You will be trained and guided by a Field Underwriting Manager. This position pays a salary ($45,000) plus a very aggressive incentive plan. You can expect that your earnings will exceed six figures.
Qualifications:
Entrepreneurial skills Generic Selling Skills Strong Interpersonal Skills Energetic Telephone Presence Confident Presentation Skills Familiarity with basic accounting principles and the construction including is a plus. Territories are currently open in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Paid training at our corporate office. Travel via your own car with expense reimbursement.
