FreelanceHybrid$48 - $52.8 /hr Posted May 08, 2026 Our Retail client is seeking an Account Manager to join their team for the next 7+ months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Hoboken, NJ. Role Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for building, executing, and managing conversion-driven and brand-building advertising solutions across omnichannel platforms. This role partners closely with clients and internal teams to deliver strategic media plans, oversee campaign execution, and drive measurable business outcomes. Reporting to a Senior Manager, Account Strategy, the position combines strategic leadership with hands-on campaign management across managed and self-service channels. The individual will translate brand marketing objectives into actionable media strategies while serving as a subject matter expert in media planning, audience targeting, and platform activation. Top Must Have Skills 3+ years of experience managing digital media campaigns across display, video, social, search, and programmatic channels
Strong understanding of digital media metrics including CPM, ROAS, CPC, CTR, and media optimization principles
Proven client-facing experience with the ability to identify risks and implement solutions proactively
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Additional Qualifications Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or related field
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI
Preferred:

Demonstrated success influencing advertiser investment decisions and media strategies Responsibilities Lead end-to-end execution of omnichannel advertising campaigns across managed and self-service platforms Oversee campaign setup, pacing, optimization, and performance reporting to ensure success against KPIs Translate client marketing goals into actionable, data-driven media strategies Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and drive revenue growth Serve as a subject matter expert in media planning, audience strategy, and platform activation Manage day-to-day client communication and build strong, trusted relationships Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction Monitor performance metrics and deliver actionable insights through regular reporting and presentations Identify risks and opportunities proactively, providing solutions to optimize performance and outcomes Stay current on digital advertising trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance strategy and execution In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
