Job Description

Job Summary As a Regional Broker Account Manager , you will support and lead Champion Health Plan's external sales channel strategy by recruiting, training, and managing independent brokers to drive enrollment growth in our Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) plans. You will ensure all broker activities are compliant with CMS guidelines and internal policies while strengthening our market presence. Your responsibilities are outlined in the accompanying job description, which will be reviewed and updated periodically in collaboration with you and your manager to reflect the evolving scope of your role and contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage a high-performing network of licensed brokers and field marketing organizations (FMOs) to promote Champion's MAPD offerings. Oversee the contracting, onboarding, and certification process for brokers, ensuring timely completion and compliance. Deliver product training, marketing updates, and CMS-required certifications to brokers and agencies. Monitor broker performance and ensure adherence to CMS and Champion's sales and marketing policies. Serve as the primary liaison between Champion Health Plan and the broker community. Support brokers in organizing and attending community events, sales presentations, and other grassroots marketing activities. Collaborate with internal departments (Compliance, Marketing, Operations, and Member Services) to support a coordinated enrollment process. Analyze market trends and enrollment data to refine broker outreach and territory strategies.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Medicare Advantage or health plan sales, with a focus on broker channel management Strong knowledge of CMS marketing guidelines and compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual preferred Ability to travel locally for broker support, training, and events
