Job Summary OPIS Renewable Services is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Representative & Key Account Manager to help strengthen and expand our client and partner relationships across the renewable energy and sustainability ecosystem. This role combines strategic account management, client relationship development, and business growth support. You'll work closely with both prospective and existing clients, helping ensure a high-quality client experience while identifying opportunities for long-term partnership growth and collaboration. We're looking for someone who is proactive, organized, collaborative, and excited to grow within a fast-moving industry at the center of the energy transition. Responsibilities Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with clients and strategic partners across the renewable energy and sustainability space. Serve as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day client communications and relationship management. Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, analytics, marketing, and leadership, to support client onboarding, account growth, and the delivery of client-focused initiatives and business objectives. Research market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities to support strategic conversations and business development efforts. Maintain organized pipeline visibility, client activity tracking, and account updates through internal systems. Represent OPIS Renewable Services professionally at conferences, networking events, industry meetings, and client engagements. Contribute ideas to improve client experience, relationship management processes, and business development initiatives. Qualifications Backgrounds in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Economics, Energy-related fields, or other relevant disciplines are strongly preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, and analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to support decision-making and client conversations. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or related business tools is required. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, commodities, or evolving energy markets. Comfortable communicating with both prospective and existing clients in a professional and thoughtful manner. Experience in business development, account management, customer success, partnerships, sales, communications, or other client-facing roles is preferred, but not required. Experience in renewable energy, sustainability, market intelligence, or related industries is a plus, but we welcome candidates from a variety of professional and academic backgrounds. Experience with data analysis, business intelligence, AI-powered tools, or related technologies is preferred but not required. Strong learning agility with the ability to quickly understand new markets, industry dynamics, and business tools in a fast-changing environment.
