In this pivotal role, you will cultivate and expand relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), driving business growth through strategic account management and innovative sales approaches. Your expertise in B2B sales, technical solutions, and market development will empower you to identify new opportunities, negotiate effectively, and deliver tailored lighting solutions that meet client needs. Duties Establish and maintain strong relationships with key purchasing, marketing, and engineering personnel at designated OEM accounts. Understand the needs and objectives of the OEM customers and align our lighting fixture and component products to meet those requirements. Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Program/Product Managers, to address and resolve any issues or challenges encountered by the assigned OEM accounts. Act as the primary point of contact for the OEM customers, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and ensuring timely resolution of any concerns. Identify opportunities for business expansion and growth within the assigned OEM accounts and develop strategies to capitalize on those opportunities. Conduct regular business reviews with OEM customers to assess performance, address feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Represent us at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as required. Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and analyses related to sales performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends. Travel to customer sites, as needed, ranging from 30% to 50% of the time. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field, preferred. 3+ years proven track record of success in account management, preferably within the lighting/electrical industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to achieving targets and objectives. Willingness to travel extensively, as required, to meet with customers and attend industry events. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
