Job Description

Outside Sales Account Manager Reports To :
Director of Sales Since 1981, Software Guidance and Assistance (SGA, Inc) has been a certified women's business enterprise that provides technology and resource solutions to Fortune 1000 companies and beyond, based on relationships and trust. SGA was started in New York and is currently nationwide with companies in India in Canada as well. At SGA, we help people. Our mission is to service people in their businesses to realize their business objectives. SGA, Inc. is currently seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager in the Connecticut area. Outside Sales Account Managers are responsible for developing relationships with decision makers at active and/or prospective clients, learning about their business objectives, improving the quality of job orders and effectively managing workflow for non-VMO and/or VMO that allows/requires "high touch." A sales campaign to call, speak to and meet with hiring managers will be established. Your Sales Manager will review your production expectations weekly. Responsibilities Schedule weekly on-site client visits, have the ability to identify decision makers, and work through the sales life cycle to close business. Document details of client meetings in Job Diva.
  • Maintain contact with current consultants on billing and achieve a minimum of one contact each month.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews with consultants engaged on client sites as well as their associated hiring managers/hiring teams to ensure all expectations are being met.
  • Work closely with National Account Manager and/or Director of Operations for contract or consultant issue resolution.
  • Follow up with recruiters on their candidate submissions.
  • Identify and help to innovate ways of improving closing ratios while encouraging a team culture.
  • Showcase the company's capabilities, benefits, and value proposition in all interactions, and work effectively to deliver these key messages to the marketplace.
  • Manage partnership pricing, negotiations, and interview processes.
  • Remain current on industry trends and coordinate with management team to participate in networking events and forums for knowledge acquisition and business development.
  • Attend a minimum of one networking event a month and develop strategies to capitalize on connections met.
  • Utilize our state of the art ATS available for sourcing new clients and expanding current client base.
  • Build excellent relationships with the recruiting staff.
  • Manage multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects.
  • Make decisions based on strong organization, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain project management timelines.
  • Become proficient in working in Job Diva and other SGA proprietary data collection and reporting tools. Skills & qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong relationships / network in the CT area
  • Excellent relationship building, networking and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a technical sales environment preferred Required characteristics for success in this role
  • Bring positive attitude to meetings and all work-related interactions
  • Have a driven and self-motivated focus on winning
  • Able to work with a sense of urgency when appropriate
  • Strong experience working and networking via LinkedIn
