The Opportunity We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager to join our team! As a Personal Lines Account Manager II, you'll take the lead in managing your own book of business while providing high-level service to clients. This role is a great fit for someone with solid insurance experience who enjoys working directly with clients, solving problems, and thinking proactively about coverage. You'll partner with clients, carriers, and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly and ensure clients are well supported.
You Will:
Manage a book of business, staying ahead of client needs Conduct account reviews to identify coverage gaps and potential risks Advise clients on policy options, endorsements, and renewals Support claims questions, certificates of insurance, audits, billing issues, and loss control recommendations Evaluate risk and recommend tailored coverage solutions, including cross-sell opportunities Work with carriers and underwriters to secure the best placement and maintain strong relationships Keep detailed and accurate records in the agency management system Lead renewal conversations to review coverage, discuss market changes, and ensure clients are properly protected
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of insurance account management experience Strong understanding of insurance products, coverage, and regulations Solid analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to independently manage multiple accounts while communicating clearly and professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field Experience working with high-net-worth or complex accounts Background in mentoring or supporting junior team members Familiarity with agency management systems and underwriting processes At Pilkey, Hopping & Ekberg (PHE), we believe diverse perspectives make us stronger.
