Regional Sales Manager - Heavy Equipment (Eastern MA / RI)
Pay:
$100,000 - $200,000+ per year (Base Salary + Uncapped Commission)

High Ground Equipment is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to grow our Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island territory. With an established customer base, strong manufacturer partnerships, over $10 million in available inventory, and uncapped commissions, you'll have the resources and support to build a highly successful career in equipment sales. Whether you're an experienced equipment sales professional or a highly motivated salesperson looking to break into the industry, this is an opportunity to represent premium equipment, build lasting customer relationships, and take ownership of a growing territory. You'll inherit existing customer relationships while continuing to develop new business opportunities throughout the territory. High Ground Equipment sells and supports premium material processing equipment throughout New England. We represent industry-leading brands including Terex Finlay, CBI, Ecotec, and Green-Tec, offering crushers, screeners, grinders, shredders, trommels, and vegetation management equipment for the construction, recycling, forestry, aggregate, and land-clearing industries. What You'll Be Doing Take ownership of the Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island territory, developing long-term customer relationships and driving equipment sales and rentals Help customers identify the right equipment solutions based on their operational goals, production requirements, and budgets Conduct regular in-person site visits to evaluate customer needs and recommend equipment solutions Build relationships with contractors, site managers, equipment operators, and business owners Prospect for new opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts Guide customers through the equipment purchasing and rental process from initial contact through delivery Work closely with company leadership to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities Use CRM tools to manage your pipeline, schedule follow-ups, and maintain customer records Partner with parts, service, and operations teams to ensure excellent customer support after the sale Travel throughout the territory as needed (company vehicle or vehicle allowance provided) Who You Are A motivated, customer-focused sales professional with a strong drive to succeed Comfortable building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing business Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with heavy equipment is a strong advantage Experience in heavy equipment, construction, material processing, industrial equipment, or B2B sales is preferred, but not required Comfortable learning and explaining how equipment works to help customers make informed decisions Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organized, self-directed, and dependable with the ability to manage your own territory Based in Massachusetts or Rhode Island is preferred Valid driver's license required What We Offer Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission Earning potential of $100,000 to $200,000+ annually No cap on earnings Health insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Paid training Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Fuel and business expense reimbursement Flexible schedule Why High Ground Equipment Established customer base throughout New England Over $10 million in available inventory Represent premium equipment brands with strong market recognition Growing company with minimal bureaucracy and fast decision-making Strong parts and service support team behind every sale Opportunity to work directly with company leadership Built on reputation, relationships, and hands-on customer service About Us High Ground Equipment is a regional leader in equipment sales, rentals, parts, and service for the material processing and environmental industries.
