SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

About the Role We are looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our sales team. This is a hybrid role — part account management, part business development — where you'll be responsible for growing existing relationships and pursuing new ones. If you have a background in the metals, manufacturing, or materials industry and enjoy building partnerships with technical customers, this is a role where your knowledge and personality will both matter. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships within an established customer base to maximize retention and revenue Proactively reach out to dormant or underperforming accounts Expand the customer base through cold calls, warm calls, and targeted outreach Perform needs analysis and coordinate the preparation, delivery, and follow-up of quotes Visit customers as needed to resolve issues and strengthen relationships Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategy with operational capabilities Attend trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings as needed Report on sales activity, forecasts, and market intelligence to management Qualifications Bachelor's or associate degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant sales experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered Technical or sales experience in the metals industry (foundry, machine shop, metal fabrication, or processing) strongly preferred Understanding of manufacturing supply chain dynamics and marketing concepts highly desirable Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits Total compensation for a successful candidate is expected to range from $105,000 to $125,000, including base salary and performance-based commission. Benefits include 401(k) with profit sharing, and health, dental, vision, and life insurance. To apply, please submit your resume.
