Job Description
Description We are looking for a commercially driven Sales & Account Manager to expand business opportunities and strengthen client partnerships in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role focuses on increasing revenue through new customer development, growing existing accounts, and delivering a high standard of service throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate is skilled at understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and managing opportunities from initial contact through successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue by identifying prospective clients, developing new business opportunities, and expanding engagement within current accounts.
- Manage customer interactions from early discussions and pricing proposals through final agreement and product or service delivery.
- Represent the company during client meetings, site visits, and presentations to build confidence and support long-term partnerships.
- Evaluate customer specifications and site conditions to gather accurate information for proposals and sales planning.
- Respond to inquiries promptly and guide prospects through the decision-making process to improve conversion results.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts by providing attentive service and consistent follow-up.
- Stay informed on product capabilities, market activity, and applicable industry or regulatory considerations that influence customer decisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams as needed to ensure commitments are met and customers receive reliable ongoing support. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a closely related client-facing commercial role.
- Demonstrated success in account growth, territory development, and achieving revenue or profit objectives.
- Experience in merchant services, account management, key account management, or territory sales.
- Ability to build trust with new and existing customers through strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Comfortable leading customer presentations, participating in site visits, and discussing pricing or commercial proposals.
- Capable of interpreting customer requirements and translating them into clear sales opportunities or inquiry details.
- Solid understanding of service-oriented business environments and customer support expectations.
