Responsibilities Assist clients with insurance inquiries, providing detailed information on policies, coverage options, and benefits. Conduct outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, or networking to expand our customer base. Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to find mutually beneficial solutions that meet their needs. Manage sales administration tasks including processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation. Support marketing initiatives by promoting insurance products across various channels and engaging potential customers effectively. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaborate with team members on benefits administration and compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a focus on customer engagement. Strong negotiation skills demonstrated through previous roles involving policy or product sales. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively. Familiarity with insurance sales processes, telemarketing techniques, and sales analysis tools is preferred. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—are essential for building rapport and explaining complex information clearly. Experience in marketing strategies or benefits administration will be considered an asset. Prior exposure to HIPAA compliance standards ensures understanding of confidentiality requirements in healthcare-related insurance services.
