We are looking for an experienced Property & Casualty Account Manager to join our agency team in Boerne, Texas. This is an important client-facing role for someone who enjoys commercial insurance, takes pride in being organized, and wants the opportunity to grow beyond account service into new business production. This role is a strong fit for a licensed commercial insurance professional who can manage existing accounts, help retain business, follow up with carriers and clients, and pursue new P&C opportunities provided through the agency's existing relationships and growth channels. Position Summary The Property & Casualty Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and supporting existing commercial P&C accounts while also helping the agency grow new business. This person will help manage renewals, certificates, endorsements, client questions, carrier follow-up, applications, submissions, proposals, audits, invoicing support, and AMS360 account documentation. In addition to account management, this role will include new business opportunity. The person hired will be provided P&C leads and will be expected to help quote, propose, follow up, and earn new commercial insurance business. New P&C business written by this role is eligible for higher new-business commission according to the agency's standard new business commission structure. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage assigned commercial Property & Casualty accounts Handle renewal timelines, renewal applications, submissions, proposals, and binding support Request, review, and follow up on loss runs as needed Process and follow up on certificates of insurance Handle endorsements, policy changes, and client service requests Communicate with carriers regarding submissions, quotes, underwriting questions, policy documents, audits, and account updates Respond to client coverage questions and service needs in a timely and professional manner Assist clients with understanding coverage options and required documentation Support remarketing efforts when needed Assist with invoicing support and account follow-up Maintain accurate and current account information in AMS360 Keep client files, activities, documents, and communications properly documented Help improve renewal workflows, client response time, and account organization Provide backup support on P&C accounts during travel, trade shows, or periods of limited availability Build strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-through Follow up on P&C leads provided by the agency Help quote, present, and close new commercial P&C business Identify opportunities to round out accounts with additional appropriate coverages Assist with expanding and strengthening the agency's carrier relationships Help research and develop additional carrier options to better serve agency clients New Business Growth Opportunity While this role includes important account management responsibilities, it is also a growth opportunity. The agency will provide P&C leads, and the person in this role will be expected to actively help develop those opportunities into new business. The right candidate should be comfortable following up with prospects, gathering underwriting information, working with carriers, preparing proposals, explaining coverage options, and helping move accounts toward binding. This is not a pure cold-calling role, but it is also not a passive service-only position. We are looking for someone who can protect existing business and help grow new business. You may be a great fit if you are: Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing deadlines and renewal timelines Experienced in commercial P&C account service Comfortable with sales follow-up and new business opportunities Strong at written and verbal communication Able to follow through without constant reminders Comfortable communicating with business owners, operators, carriers, and underwriters Professional, responsive, and service-minded Able to balance urgency with accuracy Comfortable working in agency management systems and carrier portals A team player who is willing to help where needed Interested in growing with a growing insurance agency Motivated by both salary stability and commission opportunity Required Qualifications Active Property & Casualty insurance license Commercial P&C insurance experience Strong client service and account management skills Experience working with carriers, underwriters, certificates, endorsements, renewals, and policy documents Ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines Ability to follow up on new business leads and help move opportunities forward Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and general document management Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work full-time, in-office in Boerne, Texas Preferred Experience AMS360 experience Experience with commercial property, liability, business auto, inland marine, umbrella, or related commercial lines Experience with carrier portals and loss run systems Experience preparing applications, submissions, renewal summaries, proposals, and client-facing documents Experience developing carrier relationships or helping expand carrier access Experience in a specialty agency or commercial insurance environment Systems Used This role may use: AMS360 Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Teams SharePoint Excel Carrier portals Loss run systems HubSpot Compensation Compensation will include: Competitive base salary Commission opportunity on assigned serviced accounts Higher commission opportunity for new P&C business written by this role Additional commission opportunity as the role grows and new business is produced This role is designed for someone who wants a stable base salary plus the opportunity to increase earnings by helping the agency grow.
