Job Description

Bank Deposit Specialist Location:

Responsibilities:
Updates deposit exceptions daily in the Image Centre workflow queue for all accounts, which include documentation sent in by
Personal Bankers:
signature cards, resolutions and other related account documents on new and revised accounts. Responsible for quality and control functions for all new and revised account documents, closed account documents, change of address, overdraft and transfer agreements, W-8 Beneficial, ACH external transfer agreement, and any other functions assigned to the department. Process dormant and escheatment accounts Process Notification form the IRS Publication for TIN mismatching (B Notices) Perform necessary research on exception clearing Prior to changing, altering or releasing any account information, responsible for authenticating the customer's identity and their authorization to act on behalf of the account. Perform account maintenance on deposit products in Horizon Process verification of deposit inquiries on deposit accounts Adhere to all bank policies relative to Regulatory Compliance procedures and processes Assist with disaster recovery: preparation, testing and documentation of results. Assist with year-end reporting requirements Processes returned mail and places alerts and holds in Horizon Performs mobile deposit limit increases Performs online banking limit changes Processes reclamation notifications Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Experience understanding deposit documentation 2+ years working on the front line as a Personal Banker Previous experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM system) preferred. Able to work independently and in a team environment Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines #therapy2
