Capital Partner Overview (Primary Purpose): The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a liaison between the law firm and the clients assigned with the primary responsibility for all coordination and follow-up of all non-attorney litigation and collection activities. This position serves a member of the Dallas Office Attorney/Manager Team. Duties include the responsibility of coordinating, building and maintain positive relationships with the respective client(s) assigned. These efforts are conducted in conjunction with the assigned attorney. Further, the Client Liaison's responsibilities include conducting site visits at the offices/businesses of taxpayers, clients and as such, must have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation and good driving record. In addition, the Client Liaison will be responsible for coordinating conference attendance and client engagement when the law firm is hosting or attending a client conference with their assigned clients. This coordination may require out of town travel throughout the year based on the clients assigned or confirming coverage, when necessary, by other law firm representatives as approved by the supervisor. The Client Liaison is responsible for coordinating activities with the client assigned attorney(s). Additional, duties include reviewing property tax rolls, firm and client software platforms, collection activities, litigation and post-judgment files, meeting with taxpayers, managing projects, reporting to management responsible and clients, developing and implementing collection strategies, and coordinating activities with other departments and managers in the law firm. Client Liaison is responsible for coordinating all efforts to ensure that accounts of the clients assigned are being worked throughout the organizational cycle of the property delinquent system(s) throughout the office from turnover to post-judgment to resale of the properties. The Client Liaison may also be assigned special projects by the assigned client attorney, Operations Manager or Capital Partners of the firm as needed in order to service the law firm clients. The Client Liaison is also responsible for notifying the assigned attorney, Operations Manager and Managing Partner of changes in leadership for the assigned client at the staff and elected official level. This information should include detailed information to update the firm's client database for the firm's records. Candidate must have excellent management, math, organizational, communication, writing, and technology/computer skills. Candidate must also possess a team-player mentality and excellent customer service skills. Must have the ability to use independent discretion, confidentiality, discretion and adhere to Dallas Office and all law firm guidelines. Describe the essential functions of the job: 1. Analyze tax roll to develop a customized work plan for assigned clients 2. Conduct Business Personal Property and Real Property site visits 3. Identify accounts to be worked by the Collections Department 4. Identify accounts for litigation and monitor through the litigation cycle 5. Identify accounts for tax sale and obtain client approval to sell 6. Maintain suit bankruptcy coding at individual tax offices 7. Monitor monthly collections and report activities to Operations Manager 8. Identify and implement client specific special projects to enhance collections 9. Attendance at City Council and School Board Meetings (for each assigned client) 10. Attendance at local client events (ex. Chamber of Commerce) and Statewide/conference events (ex. TAAO) Experience in the following preferred: 1. Strong Paralegal experience 2. Oracle (Tax Tool & Litigation) 3. ACT System 4. Client Relations 5. Collections Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Necessary to

1. Team Player with excellent Paralegal, Collection & Customer Service skills (5+ years preferred) 2. Strong leadership skills, exceptional work ethic, highly organized, detail oriented and deadline driven 3. Proven ability to problem solve, multi-task and meet/exceed monthly goals 4. Working knowledge and application of the Texas Property Tax Code 5.

Position:
The Client Liaison is the direct link between the client, Tax Office(s) and the law firm and is responsible for ensuring that their collection and litigation programs meet both the client's expectations and law firm goals. The ability to understand the legal requirements of the representation provided by the firm and the stated collection goals of the clients assigned. The Client Liaison must also keep information confidential as it pertains to the client and the law firm's work product and exercise excellent discretion and judgment. The Client Liaison must be able to identify the needs of the client quickly and be pro-active in solving and addressing the needs with the assigned client attorney and the other departments of the firm to obtain excellent results and service for the client. The ability to demonstrate professionalism as a representative of the law firm at all times in a variety of public and political forums.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
