Rental Manager

Zimmerer Kubota & Equipment in Fort Worth is growing and has a need for a Service Manager who has the desire to grow with our company! As a Kubota dealer we sell, service, and rent construction and turf equipment in the DFW metro area. Kubota is the #1 compact construction brand in the United States and we are aiming to be the #1 compact construction dealer in DFW! We're looking for an experienced service professional who can lead a team of technicians and service advisors to be the best dealer in DFW. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maximizing department profitability, managing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring shop efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer support. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective rental workflows and action plans to increase rental revenue and utilization Recruit, train, and mentor a team of rental Coordinators, Outside Sales Reps, and rental yard hands. Monitor service metrics and KPIs (utilization,revenue,fleet maintenance, active contracts) Manage collections and ensuring effective billing to maximize rental revenue Collaborate with the service department to ensure all preventative maintenance is being taken care of out in the field and in the shop

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians to achieve production targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to customers. Previous experience in Rental or Equipment or Auto dealer management. Results-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet repair deadlines. Strong sales and leadership aptitude Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. Pre-employment drug screening required.
