New Accounts Representative (Full-Time) Grand Valley Bank - Park City, UT Full-time | Entry-level | Hourly | 35-40 hours/week About the
Job:
Grand Valley Bank is looking for a full-time New Accounts Representative to join our team at our Park City branch, located at 1225 Deer Valley Drive Suite 100, Park City, UT 84060. This position is scheduled for 35-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Employment at Grand Valley Bank is contingent upon the successful completion of both a credit and background check and your eligibility to work in the United States.
What You'll Do:
Customer Service:
Engage with new and existing customers and assist with their everyday banking needs.
Customer Transactions:
Process customer deposits, withdraws, transfers, and other routine financial needs when opening and closing an account quickly and efficiently.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain basic knowledge of our banking products and services, and provide education to account holders on applicable policies and procedures.
Record Keeping:
Gather all appropriate documentation to complete the set-up, changing, or closing of accounts; maintain accurate records, ensuring that all information is up-to-date.
Bank Promotion:
Provide excellent banking service and promote a positive image of the bank. Identify basic financial needs, recommend appropriate products or services, and respond to customer inquiries.
Compliance:
Comply with all bank policies and procedures, follow regulatory requirements, and identify potential fraud or suspicious activity.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Prior banking and New Account Representative experience preferred. Prior experience of showing and promoting products and services preferred.
Detail-oriented:
Ability to work accurately and efficiently, possess time-management and organizational habits, and be reliable, punctual, and dependable. Eager to
Learn:
Paid training provided for you to grow your knowledge of banking products and services.
Positive Attitude:
Friendly, customer-oriented, and ready to contribute to the team.
Basic Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in banking, customer service, or cash handling is a plus, but not required.
ENVIRONMENT
This job takes place in an office setting, requiring sitting and standing with customers for extended periods of time, with light to moderate physical lifting requirements.
COMPENSATION
Starting/pay rate salary is dependent upon relevant experience. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to: years of experience and educational background.
