This role works closely with Account Executives to ensure clients receive an exceptional experience from onboarding through renewal. The Account Manager is responsible for supporting an Account Executive, coordinating campaign execution, managing client communication, overseeing artwork and insertion orders, tracking performance, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives on getting things done. They are an exceptional communicator who enjoys building relationships, keeping projects moving, and ensuring that no detail falls through the cracks. Core ResponsibilitiesSales Support & Account Executive Partnership Serve as the primary operational partner to an Account Executive Prepare Account Executive for client appointments by organizing account information, campaign history, artwork status, renewal timelines, and relevant client details. Assist with follow-up activities and ensure commitments made during meetings are completed. Coordinate the execution of new sales and renewal campaigns after agreements are secured. Manage insertion orders (I/Os), campaign documentation, and account records. Help Account Executive stay focused on relationship building and business development by managing operational details and project execution. Maintain accurate client records, communication history, and campaign information. Client Onboarding & Account Setup Manage the onboarding process for new advertisers from contract signing through campaign launch. Ensure all required materials, artwork, approvals, and information are collected and organized. Coordinate campaign setup, scheduling, and implementation. Create a seamless and professional onboarding experience for every client. Act as the liaison between clients, designers, and internal teams throughout the setup process. Campaign Execution & Artwork Coordination Manage the collection, organization, and submission of advertising artwork and creative assets. Coordinate with clients, designers, and internal teams to ensure materials are received accurately and on schedule. Track approvals and revisions to keep campaigns moving forward without delays. Ensure all advertising placements meet publication deadlines and quality standards. Monitor campaign timelines and proactively address issues before they impact delivery. Client Relationship Management Maintain regular communication with a portfolio of clients. Conduct bi-monthly client check-ins to ensure satisfaction and strengthen relationships. Respond promptly to client questions and requests. Build trust through professionalism, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through. Serve as a reliable point of contact and advocate for client success. Renewals & Retention Proactively manage account renewal timelines. Monitor upcoming contract expirations and coordinate renewal opportunities with Account Executives. Support retention efforts through consistent communication and exceptional service. Help clients understand the value of their advertising investment and identify opportunities for continued partnership. Ensure renewal opportunities are addressed well before contract expiration dates. Tracking & Reporting Manage QR code tracking and call tracking systems for client campaigns. Monitor campaign activity and ensure tracking systems are functioning properly. Compile and provide reporting support when needed. Help clients understand campaign performance and results. Administrative & Operational Excellence Maintain organized account files, documentation, and communication records. Track deadlines, deliverables, artwork submissions, client requests, and renewals. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Ensure no details fall through the cracks and all commitments are fulfilled on time. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, project coordination, advertising, marketing, or a related field. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Highly detail-oriented with excellent follow-through. Ability to work independently and execute tasks without constant supervision. Comfortable interacting with business owners and professional clients. Experience managing artwork, marketing campaigns, or advertising projects preferred. Highly proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
