Summary:
This role supports end-to-end cash application and collections for a designated portfolio of customers. The position focuses on accurate and timely payment posting, dispute resolution, and proactive collaboration with internal partners and customers to reduce past-due balances. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective customer communication, and advanced Excel proficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Post, reconcile, and resolve payments from designated bank accounts, including Cash App Connect and EDI customers Research variances, resolve disputes, and document root cause and corrective actions Manage and reduce past-due balances across assigned customer portfolio. Communicate directly with customers regarding invoices, short pays, deductions, disputes, and payment status Partner with CFS, district support, branches, and field teams to escalate and resolve discrepancies Maintain clear, organized aging documentation with status and next steps Participate in CFS builder calls and support action plans to clear open items Utilize Excel to reconcile payments, analyze trends, and support reporting Perform additional duties in support of department and team objectives
Essential Qualifications:
