BruinShop - Flex Student Worker Employment Type Student Employee Hourly Rate $12.00
Special Note:

All Federal Work-Study students should read the program rules and regulations located at http://www.belmont.edu/sfs/employment/fws.html Primary Duties and Responsibilities Serve as an on-call team member providing operational and event support during peak times. Operate registers efficiently and deliver excellent customer service. Assist with Cub Club rewards, phones, and general store support. Support major campus events including Welcome Week, Graduation, Family Weekend, Be Belmont Day, BruinDen, Sidewalk Sales, and seasonal/break coverage. Work assigned men's and women's basketball games alongside a student leader Basketball shifts are typically ~3 hours and may range from late morning to evening (approximately 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM), depending on game times. Fill in shifts as needed when student workers call out and provide critical coverage support. Maintain flexible, on-call availability based on team needs. Demonstrate reliability, responsiveness, and a team-oriented attitude. Serve as a priority candidate for standard student worker roles, with opportunity for expanded hours and increased responsibility based on performance. Required Qualifications Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude. Reliable and willing to step in when coverage is needed. Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced or changing environments. Comfortable learning and operating point-of-sale (register) systems. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work a flexible, on-call schedule. Availability during peak times, including mid-day and some evenings. Interest in supporting campus events and engaging with the community. Dependable, responsive, and solutions-oriented. Required Education Must be a current college student enrolled at Belmont University. Required Experience Previous customer service, retail, or operations experience is helpful but not required. We value individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and willing to contribute to a team environment in a fast-paced setting.
