This is an excellent role for someone with experience in healthcare marketing, medical sales, physician outreach, business development, or patient-service-based marketing. The position combines marketing material development , clinic outreach , and relationship-building with referring providers . About Mission Pain Treatment Center Mission Pain Treatment Center is an interventional pain management practice focused on advanced, minimally invasive treatments for spine, joint, nerve, and chronic pain conditions. We work closely with referring physicians, specialists, and healthcare organizations to provide timely, compassionate, and high-quality care for patients. Our services include advanced interventional pain procedures, spinal cord stimulation, regenerative medicine options, genicular artery embolization, shoulder artery embolization, spine procedures, and other non-opioid pain treatment solutions. Position Overview The Marketing & Physician Relations Representative will be responsible for increasing awareness of Mission Pain Treatment Center among physicians, clinics, and healthcare professionals throughout the Bay Area.
This role will include approximately:
1 day per week developing and organizing marketing materials, referral tools, outreach lists, and campaign planning. 2 days per week traveling to physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, orthopedic practices, podiatry offices, primary care offices, workers' compensation clinics, and other referral sources to introduce our services and maintain relationships. Key Responsibilities Develop and organize marketing materials, brochures, flyers, provider packets, referral forms, and service-specific handouts. Visit clinics and physician offices across the Bay Area to promote Mission Pain Treatment Center's services. Build and maintain strong relationships with referral coordinators, office managers, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff. Educate referring offices about our services, referral process, appointment access, and key treatment options. Identify new referral opportunities and maintain a database of outreach contacts. Track outreach visits, follow-up items, referral opportunities, and physician office feedback. Assist with service-specific marketing campaigns, including spine care, joint pain, regenerative treatments, spinal cord stimulation, workers' compensation services, and minimally invasive pain procedures. Coordinate delivery of brochures, referral pads, business cards, and other marketing collateral. Help improve brand awareness for Mission Pain Treatment Center throughout Fremont, Hayward, San Jose, Oakland, and the greater Bay Area. Communicate regularly with leadership regarding outreach progress, market feedback, and growth opportunities. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is professional, outgoing, organized, and comfortable walking into medical offices to introduce services and build relationships. We are looking for someone who is: Confident and personable Highly organized and reliable Comfortable with local travel Strong in written and verbal communication Able to represent a medical practice professionally Self-motivated and goal-oriented Comfortable using brochures, printed materials, email, phone calls, and follow-up visits to build referral relationships Interested in healthcare, pain management, spine care, orthopedics, workers' compensation, or medical sales Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following is preferred but not required: Healthcare marketing Physician liaison work Medical sales Pharmaceutical or device sales Clinic outreach Workers' compensation marketing Orthopedic, pain management, podiatry, neurology, primary care, or physical therapy marketing Business development Sales or customer relationship management Schedule Part-time position Approximately 3 days per week 1 office/administrative marketing day 2 field outreach days across the Bay Area Flexible schedule may be available depending on experience and performance Compensation Competitive hourly pay or base compensation depending on experience. Performance-based bonus or referral-growth incentive may be available for the right candidate. Mileage reimbursement may be provided for approved travel.
