Job Description

Job Summary:
The Events & Marketing Coordinator effectively markets and promotes the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce while providing event oversight, design and coordination of all chamber events. This role also lends support, both in knowledge and time, to our partners when collaborating on events.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities are intended to provide an overview and are not an exhaustive list of opportunities for job performance.
Marketing:
o Advance the Chamber's mission through effective advertising, marketing, and public relations strategies. o Maintain and update the Chamber website and event pages to provide relevant and timely information. o Develop and manage a marketing calendar, ensuring a consistent brand presence. o Create and distribute engaging content across multiple platforms, including newsletters, social media, and press releases. o Collaborate with graphic designers and vendors to develop necessary promotional or collateral materials. o Use innovative approaches to position MVCC as a leading chamber.
Events:
o Plan, coordinate, and execute Chamber programs and events. o Coordinate with vendors, venues, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution. o Prepare event timelines, promotional materials, and advertising strategies. o Oversee event logistics, including setup, onsite management, and post-event evaluations. o Track event attendance and engagement to measure success and make data-driven improvements. Administrative & Supportive Duties o Assist with answering phones, responding to member inquiries, and providing customer service. o Support the President / CEO and Board of Directors as needed. o Participate in committee meetings as assigned and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
