JURA Event Representative

Job description JURA Inc. is a distributor of luxury home automatic coffee machines since 1931. We have established a network of brand ambassadors called Event Representatives in key cities across the United States. We are thrilled to be expanding our program due to increased business and currently have a part-time contract position in our San Jose territory. The Event Representative will conduct special events, sales training, and servicing for key retail stores where JURA products are sold. Our mission is to support our retail partners, including Williams-Sonoma, Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, and others. JURA will provide the Event Representative opportunities for coaching, mentoring, education, product support, as well as sales and marketing advice. This is a part-time contract position, with flexible hours, making your own schedule that may include days, nights, weekends. The pay is excellent. The candidate needs to be professional, present well, self-motivated, able to speak to small groups, self-starter, excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, personable, ability to teach/coach others, computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office. The candidate must have access to personal reliable transportation as this role is approximately 95% local travel. As an Event Representative the candidate will be responsible for educating retail associates to comfortably discuss and present JURA products available in-store and/or online. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills, combined with strategic thinking to effectively address various tasks and challenges as they arise. Ultimately, the candidate should be able to act as a positive spokesperson for the company, representing JURA products and brand philosophy.
