Fulltime, Onsite Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Management:

Maintain and expand relationships with institutional clients (librarians, professors, and buyers) primarily through remote communication.

Lead Generation:

Proactively explore new business opportunities and identify sales leads through daily interactions and market research.

Order & Logistics Oversight:

Manage the full sales cycle, including product intake, inventory control, shipping coordination, and invoice processing.

Financial Administration:

Determine pricing/discounts with management and ensure timely payment collection and follow-up on outstanding balances.

Digital Marketing & E-commerce:

Execute email marketing campaigns and manage online store operations to drive promotional growth.

Customer Support & Database Management:

Resolve inquiries and complaints via phone/email while maintaining accurate, up-to-date customer and product databases.

Team Leadership:

Assist in supervising and training part-time staff, providing guidance and reporting performance or issues to the Sales Manager.

Operational Support:

Participate in trade shows, contribute to process improvements, and handle special projects to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

Fluent in English and Japanese (written/verbal) with mastery of Keigo and Translation. Background in bookselling, publishing, or digital sales preferred Proficient in Order Processing, Warehouse Management, and Vendor Relations. Skilled in managing Online Sales and executing Email Marketing campaigns. Ability to Supervise and Train part-time staff and lead small team initiatives.
