Job Description

The Best Players Need the Best People. The Biltmore Championship Asheville is seeking a candidate for an Event Operations Internship. This role will support the Event Operations team in planning, preparation, and execution of The Biltmore Championship Asheville. Daily Job Responsibilities Work closely with the Event Operations Director and Specialist to activate all aspects of the Biltmore Championship Assist with management of vendor, club staff, and tour staff relationships Direct management of vendors such as: Ecology POL/Restroom Trailers Golf Carts Radio Communications Mobile Office/Storage Rental Fencing Miscellaneous Vendors Support event staff with execution of large-scale special events throughout advance and event weeks Liaison for on-site corporate partnership activations and execution Responsible for managing event operations timeline Forklift and heavy equipment operation Requirements Interest in Event Management, Marketing and/or Sports Marketing Ability to work in a team environment Public relations skills and ability to communicate with staff, volunteers, corporate clients and vendors Must take initiative, operate proactively and think independently in project management Capacity to work on several projects simultaneously Self-discipline with schedule and time management Organized with attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move objects weighing 50 pounds Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Employment Dates August - October , 2026
