Job Description

Marketing & Sales Coordinator Job Summary:
The Marketing & Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving business growth through community outreach, partnerships, and marketing initiatives, while also supporting fingerprinting services and customer interactions. This role combines sales, marketing, and operational responsibilities to increase client volume and establish the company as a preferred fingerprinting provider in the community.
Pay Details:
1-3 months: $16/hr 3-6 months: $17/hr 6+ months: $18+/hr
Scheduling Details:
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 5-8 hours per week, generally between 8 am - 8 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am - 2 pm on Saturday. Initial schedule (May): Approximately 3 hours per week focused primarily on sales and community outreach. Adjusted schedule (beginning in June): Approximately 3 hours per week dedicated to sales and community outreach. Approximately 4 hours per week performing fingerprinting services. Schedule is flexible but must align with business and community needs. Evening and weekend availability is required, particularly for community events and fingerprinting appointments. Employees may be expected to attend community events (e.g., Chamber of Commerce events, job fairs) outside of standard business hours.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Sales & Community Outreach Develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations (e.g., real estate schools, hospitals, daycare centers, colleges, and other businesses). Conduct regular in-person visits to community partners and track outreach activity. Represent the company at job fairs, community events, and Chamber of Commerce events. Coordinate and execute promotional giveaways and outreach initiatives. Identify and pursue opportunities to secure contracts and become a preferred fingerprinting vendor. Marketing Support social media efforts and digital presence. Assist in developing and executing marketing plans to increase fingerprinting volume. Create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, ads, and newsletters. Maintain and utilize CRM tools to track customers and outreach efforts. Contribute to monthly and annual business growth strategies using data-driven insights. Fingerprinting Services Perform fingerprinting services in accordance with company standards. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email. Collect and manage customer reviews and feedback. Provide support in training staff on fingerprinting processes. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Maintain a minimum of approximately 4 hours per week performing fingerprinting services. Miscellaneous Perform other related duties as assigned to support business operations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a community-facing role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records. Basic marketing knowledge, including social media and promotional strategies. Customer service-oriented mindset. Ability to adapt to a dynamic, small-business environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or basic CRM tools preferred.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or community outreach preferred. Experience working in a small business or startup environment is a plus. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and interacting with customers. Ability to travel locally for community outreach and events. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer as needed.
