Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
This description of job responsibilities is intended to reflect the major responsibilities and duties of the job, but is not intended to describe minor duties or other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time Act as a strategic advisor to product-line managers, senior leadership, and community stakeholders, contributing to the development, execution, and ongoing optimization of marketing, advertising, and promotional strategies. Lead initiatives that meet or exceed Health System goals and objectives while maintaining a high level of strategic thinking. Project management as designated by the Director or Vice President of Marketing. This includes overseeing and managing multiple high-priority projects from conception to execution, including event planning, advertising, and collateral development. As well as, driving the creation, approval, production, and placement of advertising for programs, events, and service lines. Ensure all marketing materials align with the Health System's objectives, messaging and branding. Maintain comprehensive documentation and tracking systems for all activities and projects. Continuously evaluate processes and provide recommendations for enhancing project efficiency, improving budgeting accuracy, and refining project delivery methods. Ensure that tracking systems are utilized to monitor project timelines, media placements, and budget adherence. Take a lead role in the creation, editing, and production of high-quality Health System collateral, including brochures, direct mail, press releases, advertisements, flyers, and both internal and external newsletters. Ensure that all content aligns with the Health System's brand, messaging guidelines, and public relations goals. Assist with creating and managing the Health System's podcast initiatives. Support content planning, production, and promotion of podcasts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and organizational goals. Collaborate with internal experts and external guests to deliver valuable, engaging content for the community, patients, and potential team members. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members or interns. Serve as a point of escalation for complex or sensitive projects and provide support as needed. Foster a collaborative and creative team environment focused on achieving marketing goals. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related degree required, Experience 3-5 years of marketing or public relations related experience. Health care experience preferred.
