ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Continually monitors the Internet Customer Contact System and directs inquiries to the appropriate persons. Enters all internet company contacts/leads into the SCS' customer relationship management system (CRM). Provides varying levels of administrative support for Sales and Market Management personnel (expense reports, conference calls, etc.). Assists in the preparation of formal customer/corporate presentations, reports, memos, forms and letters as required by Sales/Marketing Management. Prepares and maintains representative, distributor and customer contracts and agreements. Additionally tracks, follows and reports key milestone dates of these agreements. Works with Marketing Communications to maintain adequate inventory of promotional literature. Sends out customer literature and samples as required by Field Sales, Marketing or customers. Coordinates business cards, letterhead and envelopes, tradeshow promotional items and shirts, holiday cards and annual calendars for SCS. Supports Equipment Sales Team quotes, quote templates activities as required. Works with the Equipment Sales Managers and Equipment Business Segment Manager to create and manage annual price books. Provides periodic front desk/phone back-up coverage as needed. Coordinates corporate events including, but not limited to, SCS customer events or visits, sales meetings, trade shows, employee or business meetings. Coordinates travel for SCS personnel (Sales and Marketing, etc.) as required (work visas, airlines, hotels, etc.). Serves as editor and coordinator of SCS Global Coverage newsletter, along with the Marketing Strategist. Provides back-up to the Executive Administrative Assistant as needed. Along with Executive Administrative Assistant, coordinates with external travel support vendor as key contact. Serves as a member of various employee relations planning committee(s). Adheres to plant and corporate safety policies. May be a member of SCS Emergency Response Team.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates trade shows, webinars, seminars and website follow-up emails as appropriate. May assist in other areas or perform other duties as required by fluctuating business needs.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and five (5) or more years of experience in a marketing/sales coordinator or equivalent position.
BASIC SKILLS
Must possess well-developed communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, including strong editing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel®, Power Point® and Word® software. Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce CRM preferred. This person must also possess the ability to coordinate resources and multiple priorities and must be able to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization as well as customers. Ability to read, write and follow written or verbal instructions. Writes reports and any other business correspondence. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to use calculator and perform basic mathematics. Types 50 WPM. Possesses exceptional organizational and customer service skills. Ensure confidential information learned is maintained.
