Job Description
Shore Girls are temporary seasonal promotional ambassadors who help represent Buoys during select summer activations, launch weekends, and community events in coastal locations. This role is centered around brand promotion, social content, guest engagement, and helping create a fun, welcoming summer atmosphere during events and pop-ups. Responsibilities Represent Buoys during summer activations and events Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner Assist with event setup, giveaways, and promotional activities Create social media content and assist with brand visibility Support the Buoys team during launch weekends and pop-ups Maintain a positive, welcoming, guest-focused attitude Ideal Candidates We're looking for individuals who are: Outgoing and personable Comfortable interacting with guests Reliable and professional Social media familiar Interested in hospitality, branding, events, or coastal lifestyle culture Able to work in outdoor summer environments Requirements Must be 18+ Must already have housing secured in or near the activation location Ideal applicants will already have a main seasonal job, housing arrangement, or place to stay for the summer Must have reliable transportation to and from Buoys events or activations Housing, travel, and transportation are not provided or covered by Buoys Weekend and summer availability preferred Comfortable working outdoors in warm coastal weather Friendly, reliable, and professional with guests and team members Uniform & Appearance Natural, beachy, summer-ready appearance Comfortable with casual coastal styling for events and content Beach-bum, surf-inspired details are welcome, including sunglasses, Pura Vida-style bracelets, claw clips, etc. Hair and makeup may be natural, polished, or relaxed, as long as the overall look is clean and appropriate Branded apparel may be provided for certain events More information on uniforms will be provided during the informational meeting Further uniform details will be shared during the informational meeting Compensation Compensation may vary depending on activation type, hours, and responsibilities. Some opportunities may include hourly pay, tips, promotional incentives, affiliate opportunities, or event-based compensation. Further compensation details will be shared during the informational meeting. Additional Information Shore Girl activations are temporary promotional experiences and do not automatically guarantee future employment with Buoys. However, standout participants may be considered for future seasonal opportunities as the brand expands.
