$15.30/hr Position Summary The Student Worker for Advising and Student Life plays a key role in supporting the Student Life department throughout the summer months as well as ensuring a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for incoming students and their families. This position supports event preparation, day-of logistics, and direct engagement with students and guests during Right Start planning sessions. Key Responsibilities General Student Life Help in the coordination of in person and virtual campus events Provide customer service to students and on/off campus partners Assist with data entry into departmental student information systems Support the summer bridge program through intentional programming Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism Assist with providing student life communications to students as staff Answer student life related questions Assist with special projects as needed Right Start Planning Event Preparation & Logistics Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces Prepare materials, name tags, packets, signage, and supplies Organize check-in stations and presentation rooms Support technology setup (projectors, laptops, signage, etc.) Event Support & Student Engagement Welcome and check in students and families Provide directions and answer general questions Escort guests to sessions and campus locations as needed Support presenters and staff during sessions Help maintain a positive and inclusive environment Administrative & Planning Support Assist staff with pre-event preparation and inventory organization Assemble materials and packets in advance of event days Support post-event cleanup and organization Required Availability Student workers must be available on the following dates:
