Job Description

Join Ancorum Credit Union's Marketing Team as a Marketing Coordinator and play a key role in supporting the organization's marketing strategy, member engagement efforts, and brand presence across all channels. This position works closely with the marketing team and internal departments to coordinate campaigns, manage digital communications, support community initiatives, and ensure consistent messaging that reflects the Ancorum brand. From social media and email marketing to branch promotions and community events, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact member growth and engagement. Regular schedule is 8:30-5:00pm Monday - Friday, except Thursday 8:00-4:30pm. Opportunities for flexibility and hybrid once training complete.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with the implementation of marketing campaigns, promotions, and communication efforts that align with organizational goals, drive member growth, and foster engagement. Support the management of social media channels by scheduling content, monitoring engagement, and assisting with the execution of promotional campaigns. Help maintain and update website content to ensure information is accurate, timely, and consistent with the brand. Coordinate and support email marketing activities, including newsletters, promotional materials, and member communications. Create and edit basic marketing materials for both print and digital platforms using design tools, such as brochures, social media graphics, and signage. Assist with branch marketing needs by preparing displays, promotional materials, and campaign communications to guarantee consistency across various locations. Support community sponsorships, events, and charitable initiatives by coordinating materials and promoting these activities. Assist with financial education and member engagement programs, including youth initiatives and programs for first-time buyers. Help maintain and update internal marketing resources and platforms to ensure content is current and accessible for the team. Monitor and report on basic campaign performance metrics, providing insights to the marketing team for continuous improvement. Develop an understanding of multiple digital delivery channels, including email, website, social media, digital banking, digital advertising, and email platforms, to support consistent and effective member communication. Ensure all marketing materials and communications meet brand standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Perform administrative tasks to support the daily operations and coordination of the marketing department. Crosstrain with other marketing team members to support departmental functions and maintain continuity of operations. Travel as needed to support Ancorum locations, community events, sponsorship activities, content creation, photography/videography opportunities, and other marketing initiatives. Adapt to evolving organizational needs by assisting with additional projects and duties as assigned.

Be relied upon to perform all duties as scheduled, accurately, and efficiently. Foster and maintain effective collaborative relationships within the department and with other departments. Represent the credit union positively and professionally to members, other credit unions, industry affiliates, the community, and all media channels, including social media.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) is preferred, not required. Basic experience or internship in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Basic experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. All essential functions are performed in an office setting. Temperatures in the climate-controlled office may fluctuate. Work area is sometimes noisy due to multiple member transactions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employee may not be able to easily leave work area unless for a scheduled break.

The mental demands for this position include: the need to be alert to member needs, to be resourceful in solving member problems, and to be precise when updating member accounts. The employee must be able to deal with people effectively under adverse and/or stressful conditions, occasionally be persuasive, use judgment, and exhibit patience.
