SUMMARY:
The Experiential & Youth Marketing Coordinator is part of the Minnesota Vikings Marketing Department and supports the planning and execution of programs and initiatives designed to grow and engage the team's fanbase. This role works closely with multiple departments, using strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to align strategy and carry out projects based on data and fan insights. The coordinator helps lead and support youth and experiential fan engagement efforts, while collaborating with the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders (MVC) and Viktor the Viking mascot programs to connect with key audiences. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, along with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Oversee Experiential & Youth Marketing database management and development, using basic data skills, while working closely with the Vikings Data Analytics team to leverage known personas and identify opportunities to grow fan insights. Lead Vikings youth events throughout the year including, but not limited to, Kids Club tentpole events: Halloween, Summer Kickoff, and Post-Game. Assist with planning and executing fan activation at Vikings Training Camp, using a strong customer-focused mindset. Create and manage schedules for Training Camp and Game Day interns to keep operations running smoothly. Assist with planning and executing tailgate activations in Commons Park during every Vikings home game, supporting logistics and quickly solving problems in a fast-paced environment. Oversee the Minnesota Vikings Kids and Minnesota Vikings Fan Club Presidents Facebook groups to build strong relationships with fans online. Collaborate with Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders (MVC) coaches to support web updates, schedule appearances, and coordinate local events, with a strong focus on communication. Support the Viktor mascot program through appearance scheduling, web updates, and community events, with a strong focus on attention to detail. Support global fan outreach through the Vikings Fleet program, coordinating fan gifts, events, monthly communications, and database updates. Assist with planning and production of fan engagement activities and digital content, using creativity and a willingness to try new ideas to support experiential initiatives and new opportunities driven by fan insights. Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to ideate and execute partner activations that support youth programing and enhance fan engagement. Assist with on-site execution of select regional marketing activation and additional Vikings events, including possible travel.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of related marketing experience or an equivalent level of hands-on experience. Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. Positive, proactive team player with strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and contribute to an inclusive and respectful work environment. Demonstrates a growth mindset with a willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and build skills. Maintains professionalism with a high level of integrity, empathy, trust, and respect. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Photoshop and Canva is helpful but not required. Ability and desire to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.CONFIDENTIALITY REQUIREMENTS
