Position Summary:
As a new and expanding division within Guardian Angels, Thryve is redefining how older adults connect to support, resources, and technology that help them thrive at home and in their communities. Just two years into this exciting journey, we are building something meaningful, innovative, and deeply impactful — and now is the perfect time to join our team in a grant funded role. The Marketing/Outreach Coordinator will play an active role in helping grow a mission-driven startup environment within an established organization. This position supports community outreach, social media engagement, technology assistance, and program promotion while helping older adults stay connected, informed, and empowered. Job Duties:
Community Engagement Represent Thryve at community events, health fairs, and outreach opportunities. Help build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, providers, and community leaders. Participate in networking opportunities and collaborative community initiatives related to aging, wellness, and caregiver support. Program SupporAssist in planning and promoting educational sessions, workshops, and caregiver series. Track attendance, feedback, and outcomes. Contribute creative ideas to strengthen programs and engagement. Technology Support Provide client assistance with Thryve technology tools, including setup, troubleshooting, and training. Support day-to-day operations of client messaging systems, including data management. Social Media & Communications Create engaging social media content (posts, graphics, videos). Monitor channels, respond to inquiries, and track engagement. Assist with flyers, newsletters, handouts, and other promotional materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required in Marketing, Communications, and/or Social Work/Human Services Field. Experience using social media platforms and creating basic content. Background in human services, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred. Creative, innovative thinker with the ability to bring fresh ideas to a developing program. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). People-centered mindset and genuine passion for supporting older adults. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
