Event Day Staff

Temporary Event Staff - Community Events We are looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Temporary Event Staff to help support our monthly community events at the mall. Our events are designed to create fun, memorable experiences for families, guests, and local vendors, and we are looking for extra helping hands to make those days special for the Maplewood community. This is not a traditional part-time position. Staff will only be needed for event days, typically 1-2 times per month. This role is a great fit for someone who works full or part-time during the week and is looking for extra weekend hours. Next Hiring Event Our next event is scheduled for Saturday, May 9th and will be approximately 5 hours, starting at 11am. This event will be a Mothers Day Craft Event, so staff should be comfortable around large groups and able support and redirect families as needed. Responsibilities Set up crafting stations with supplies, materials, and activity displays before guests arrive Maintain and reset crafting supplies throughout the event to keep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked Assist families as needed with activities and event flow Take individual or family keepsake photos using a Polaroid camera Help create a cheerful, polished, and inviting atmosphere for guests Support light event cleanup during and after the event Break down stations and restore event space post-event Qualifications Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with children and families Organized and proactive with strong attention to detail Able to stay on task in a busy event setting Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting light event materials Previous event, hospitality, retail, or childcare experience is a plus, but not required Additional Information Large events are typically held 1-2 times per month We are hiring for future events throughout the year as well Staff who are a good fit may be contacted for additional event opportunities Weekend availability is needed for most events If you enjoy working with people, being part of community events, and helping create fun experiences, we would love to hear from you!

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
